On my mother’s bookshelf was a small paperback book entitled, I Shall Not Die by Nerses S. Sarian. (London: Marshall, Morgan & Scott, Lt., 1967). I’m sure it’s out of print now, but the whole story was fascinating. It’s a minister’s account of his exodus from Eastern Turkey during the years of 1914 to 1922. [...]
